At Owl's Nest you can expect to be be challenged by a great course and pampered by our professional staff !
Owl's Nest can be divided into three sections.
The six holes surrounding the clubhouse feature links-style golf. Perimeter mounding on the sides of the fairways bring stray drives back to the short grass. Six holes meander "through the fields" and around our four-acre spring-fed pond. Accuracy is important through this section. If your shots are not on line, they will find a watery resting place!
The final six holes, set atop "Sunset Hill," and are among the best you will experience anywhere. Enjoy the stunning mountain views.

We invite you to explore our course on-line.
Enjoy an analysis complete with fairway layouts and fairway tips. Ask in the Golf shop for a copy of our yardage book - this $5 course book gives you all the information you need and makes a great souvenir!

Rules of Play
USGA Rules will govern all play.
All lateral water hazards are marked by red stakes or red lines.
All sprinkler head distances are lasered to the center of the green.
All yardage markers are embedded in the fairways and are designated as follows:
Blue= 200 White= 150 Red = 100
White posts on both sides of the fairway indicate 150 yards to the center of the green.
Owl's Nest is a spikeless golf facility.
Green friendly spikes are required
Owl's Nest Golf Club has joined other golf facilities in New England and in the US by instituting a requirement that all golfers use nonmetal/non-ceramic golf shoe spikes. This requirement is a major benefit to the golfing public. The use of these "soft spikes" greatly improves the playing conditions of the greens and tees. Conditions late in the day are as good as early in the morning. Those who use these alternative spikes enjoy more walking comfort.
Prior to your arrival at Owl's Nest we urge you to change your golf shoes over to Green Friendly Spikes. New shoes are for sale in our Golf Shop, as well as assistance in converting metal spikes to nonmetal.
Athletic shoes or sneakers may be worn instead of golf shoes.
